Yes, it’s time for another batch of hate mail I get for morons and other troglodytes who know nothing but think they know everything.
This first three are in response to an article I wrote last week in the mist of Michigan’s Right-To-Work debate about how Dick DeVos wants to rule over Michigan like a king. I’m assuming she’s talking about Dick and Betsy DeVos.
“How dare you write nasty things about good Christians. I hope you burn in hell, you godless heathen!”

He’s the lawyer from responsible for the landmark decision, Kemp v. Countrywide, and he spends his days in the New Jersey courts fighting for the rights of homeowners in bankruptcy and at risk of foreclosure.
New Jersey, over the last couple of years, has become one of the nation’s hardest states in which to foreclose… the average foreclosure now reportedly takes over 900 days. That’s been good news for New Jersey homeowners, but it also means there’s a huge backlog of homes that are poised to go into foreclosure, some estimate that number to be north of 200,000.
A confirmed bachelor type friend of mine asked me recently why people have children. If you penciled it out, it just didn’t make sense, he was explaining.
I knew he was right… there’s nothing that makes sense about having kids, especially these days. They’re expensive as can be. They restrict your lifestyle for decades. They’re not always perfect… although mine happens to be. And you constantly worry for their safety today and about their future tomorrow… and even the fleeting thought of them leaving you can rip your heart to shreds.

The tragic massacre of 26 elementary school children in Connecticut today by gunman Adam Lanza coincidentally comes days after the Republican led Michigan Legislature passed a bill that would make it legal to carry a concealed weapon into a school or church. The bill also loosened requirements to purchase a hand gun and took control of issuing permits from local sheriffs departments by giving it to the state. The Michigan House and Senate passed set of bills that mirror the Connecticut laws that Adam Lanza was able to take advantage.
A staffer for the Michigan Republican Party who grew up in Emmet County and who wished to remain anonymous because he didn’t have authorization to speak from the Communications Director, Matt Frendewey said, “Look, first off, gun control is for Wimps and Commies. If one of those teachers was packin’ a .45 this would have ended very differently. Besides, carrying a firearm is every Americans right. How else do you expect to stop evil doers?”

You won’t believe how badly they FAILED in this state, to change an obviously corrupt law into something with a modicum of common sense. I had some fun with it, so it should be worth a few laughs… as it infuriates you until you’re ready to scream.
But clearly, the people of Colorado can’t give up.
